Hello

November 25, 1970, was the day of my birth in Kingston, Jamaica. Being around my father, a builder, sparked an interest in construction and architecture in me. I was introduced to the building sector at a young age, and as a result, I developed a greater enthusiasm for it. I prioritized technical coursework during my early collegiate years. I have studied culinary arts as well as woodworking (furniture & carpentry), technical drawing, construction technology, and art & craft. My career as an assistant architect at Desmond Hayles and Associates began immediately after I received my degree in architecture in 1994. Prior to that, I had worked as a printer and draftsman there. Later, I was employed by the municipal council (local government), where I was responsible for evaluating applications, approving permits, and keeping track of post-approvals.

I've simultaneously worked in private practice, designing expansions, single- and multifamily homes, commercial structures, and I've developed a passing interest in building.

Despite being of Caribbean descent, I do not adhere to any one particular architectural style but rather embrace what is acceptable based on the context, historical precedent, client taste, and other criteria. I typically employ contemporary and mediterranean architectural styles, and occasionally I combine both in a single design.
